Happy Holidays! Wow, the end of another year. I don’t know how it always happens, but it seems to get faster and faster as each year passes. I love the holiday season and all that comes along with it. I love having family together, sharing meals, and just the overall feeling that comes with the hustle and bustle of this time of year. I am so thankful that Grace-Allen.com happened this past year. I don’t know how it came to be, but I am so thankful that it did. It has been amazing to connect with so many of you and I cannot wait to see what next year has in store. But, before I get ahead of myself with talking about next year… let’s talk about the BIGGEST holiday of the year…. CHRISTMAS.
Do any of you have that friend or family member that always gives the BEST gifts? If someone doesn’t come to mind, maybe that someone is you.. and if that someone is you, I am insanely jealous, because that someone surely isn’t me. I try really hard to give gifts that people will enjoy, yet I sometimes find myself at a total loss. One of the best ways i’ve learned in my attempt to give “good gifts” is to simply listen when people talk. It’s as simple (and as difficult) as that. See, this whole listening thing works when you actually spend time with the people that you are buying your gifts for. We all know that awkward predicament of having to buy a gift for someone that we “just kind of know”– for example, your boyfriends’s sibling or your coworker that you don’t really like all that much but it would be rude if you didn’t get her a little something, etc. You know what I’m talking about. I have found myself in a situation like this many times and to be so honest, I don’t usually plan ahead and I almost always find myself rushing into Target or TJ Maxx and buying the first thing that catches my eye (that is actually so terrible) because I waited too long and now spending the time to be thoughtful and shop online for something they actually would enjoy won’t work because I waited too long and now the shipping won’t get it to me on time. Anybody? Just me? Okay. If this sounds like you at all, I hope that this post will help you out!
I’ve taken the time, talked to friends and family and scoured the internet for the best gifts of the season for everybody on your list (even the coworker that you don’t really like). I know that the holiday season is expensive, so I have tried my absolute best to select gifts that cover a range of prices to make sure that there is something for everyone! I have broken the gift guide up into a few categories: Grace’s List, For Him, Parent’s List, Globe Trotting Gal, Fitness Fanatic, and Gifts Under $100. To shop the featured products simply click the photo. It’s as simple as that!
